POLITICO: France goes big on missiles and drones in multibillion-euro defense plan

Paris is also mulling the development of a new tank, according to a draft military planning law seen by POLITICO.[...]
France has also apparently killed the Eurodrone, a long-range reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle being developed together with Germany, Italy and Spain, as the draft allocates no money to the much-delayed European program.

While the planning runs until 2030, parliamentary and industry officials expect Macron’s successor to draft a new one after the 2027 presidential election.

POLITICO liegt nach eigenen Berichten der Entwurf des französischen Militärplanungsgesetz vor. Laut dem Bericht soll in dem aktuellen Entwurf kein Geld mehr für die EuroDrohne vorhanden sein.

Natürlich ist es noch ein Entwurf, und es kann sich noch bis zu der finalen Vorlage ändern. Aber es scheint sehr wahrscheinlich, dass Frankreich wirklich ausscheidet.
